shared graphics ram is slow. Getting a Graphics-Card would speed up WOW.

Also adding more RAM would speed up WOW, independent of the Graphics-Card.

Which BUS-System do you got? AGP or PCI-Express?

For AGP, you´ll find the
ATI 9800 Pro 128 MB RAM (important! 256 MB is slower) for cheap used.
The 9800 Pro with 256 MB RAM is still good, but the 128 MB Version is
faster.

For PCI-Express: I got the ATI X850XT. If you got PCI-Express BUS
(not PCI Graphics, it got to be PCI-Express Graphics) this Card and
a RAM upgrade to 1.5-2 GB RAM would boost you more or less to the same level then a new system.
