Hello
I'm currently a 300 miner and 275 blacksmith (going the swordsmith
route)
I'm in a guild which seems to have quite a few blacksmiths too. There
is 1 Armoursmith, 1 Hammersmith and about 3 swordsmiths.
As such I've decided that I will change my profession to something
else. There is no point in having that many swordsmiths. But what
should I change to?
I'm thinking on staying Mining, as Collection Thorium is a nice little
money maker and usefull for the other blacksmiths in the guild too.
I'm a gnome so engineering would be a good choice (because or racial
bonus)
If you chose Engenering then look back a few days for this post:
Subject: power level engineer

It'll give you the easiest, fastest and cheapest way to become lvl 300.
Any suggestions? Also a way to powerlevel would be usefull if you know
one.
Engenering is quite good for casters (actually there are usable items
for all classes), and you'll be the hero of the party, if it's a near
wipe but you survives and rez the priest with the jumper cables :-D
I know of some hardcore guilds that will only take hunters in, if they
have lvl 300 Engeneering, because of Feign Death + Jumper Cables.
The Repair Bot is also very popular, and I've more than once been in
groups that would have disbanded because of the need for repair, and
people just wouldn't bother to come back. The repair Bot fixes that, and
people are often willing to pay more for the onsite repairs too, so time
isn't waisted by traveling.
If you really wanna keep mining, won't do blacksmithing and want another
crafting profession, I can only recommend Engeneering. When the
expansion comes, you'll have your mining ready for a shift to Jewel
Crafting too, since it's likely we will need mining materials for this
profession too.
