The necropolises respawn a couple of hours after being taken down. When 150
necropolises are down, the event ends. The Argent Emissaries will give you
a running total of how many have been killed. When it stops, it *really*
stops - all the existing mobs and crystals despawn simultaneously. It's
already happened on some servers, and they're a bit annoyed at the
anticlimactic end of the invasion. It's just a yell of "hooray we won" and
everything stops dead.


afaik the scurge invasion though is only here for a short time. I'm
grinding my AD Rep whilst waiting to BG's. The armor the silver elires
drop (+dmg against undead) and the wizard oil you get from 8 Necrotic
Runes will all stay after the invasion and will help in Strat undead
runs etc so I'm grinding the AD rep and massing my Wizard oil.

Yup. The AD grind quests (fronds, armor scraps etc.) also stay after the
invasion.
