Remember that there are 6 starting points in the game. (I think. I've only
played Alliance so I've only started at 3 of them.) But Elves don't approve
of dark magic so that eliminates at least one. I don't know if one of the
Horde factions also outlaws warlock starts in one of its starting areas.
Doh, you're right--I've gotten so used to my human warlock I forget there
are others.
I think when I started my gnome Warlock 40 levels ago (Woot! Got my mount
yesterday!) I got my imp from the trainer in the dwarve's cave in the
starting area.
Grats on the mount. Some day, some day...
