Finally took the plunge and downloaded auctioneer, did a scan and had a
look at
suggested prices. Some made sense when i looked manually but other
recommendations didnt.
For example, i sell so much iron i know i will always sell a stack for 2G,
auctioneer recommended 1g 50s.
Heavy leather at 36s has never come back but auctioneer recommended 32s.

Ive read somewhere to 'scan daily for a week' before using auctioneer.
Does auctioneer base its recommendations
on historical scans or just the latest scan?.

Do people find using 5% undercutting on popular items (leather, bars etc)
actually sells in 24 hours or do they
drop lower?. Ive found people come after ive listed and undercut me more,
so the 'base price' drops after ive listed.
For me a couple of hundred skins/bars in my post each day would be a bit
of a nightmare.

Finally, the broker, do you guys use this?. It seemed to good to be true,
for example it came up with
'pattern: dinosaur leggings' listed at buyout 3G, insisting i could relist
for 7.5G, i just found it too hard to believe there
was 4.5G profit sitting there for 20 seconds work..do you use it only for
high volume items to avoid
spikes messing up the data ?. Do you think its 'wrong' to relist bargain
items at market price for gain?.

Money is an issue now ive started crafting and bought mounts, so being
able to get a decent price for stuff while still selling would be a
godsend.

It's what ever you want to do with your time. Personally I'd rather get a
friend or 2 and go grind tyr's hand, noxious glade or solo SM. I find the
experience far more rewarding and the money is nice too, I got lucky the
other day and got 2 nice drops in SM library, made 68g clear profit for 45
mins work. (a ring of +19 shadow resistance and the tigerstrike cloak if
you're wondering)
