Wow + SoundBlaster Live 24 bit ?

I'm helping a Wow addict build an economical gaming computer around the
nvidia 6100/410 chipset with the Realtek ALC655 onboard sound. We'll be
overclocking a Sempron 64 2800+ by 50%, with 2 gigs of memory.

My thought is that a SoundBlaster Live 24 bit for $33 at newegg would
probably help the fps and maybe sound better.

Does that card cover Wow's effects fully, and do you think it's worth it to
take some load off the cpu? Or maybe in EAX it's not enough. One user
comment said that it doesn't have hardware EAX acceleration. I couldn't find
anything about Wow's sound on the web site.
