i still have the hotbar i used setup, but im not home right now to tell the exact ranks i used, but if i recall correctly it was flash heal rank6 and renew rank5. then i had the highest versions of both setup for myself. i dont think i cast flash heal more than maybe 2 or 3 times in a really extreme emergency, using only abolish disease and renew.

i had started to record my run at it using fraps, and i really wish i had. i thought i would run out of diskspace, so i decided against it. :(

a bit more detail for you though. i brought 15 oil of immolations, and the 2 stratholme holy waters. i used 10 of the oil's and both of the holy water's. the waters i used when things looked like they were moving to fast and i needed to slow down a moment, and they helped a lot in that regard.

my gear at the time was every last piece of int gear i had, including my +22 int enchanted glowing brightwood staff. i was sitting just a hair over 7800 mana unbuffed. after everything i had read, it seemed like i would be casting non-stop so i wanted to get as many possible casts as i could, without regard to needing to regen mana. i figured the mana potions would do that.

im not sure if the blessing was bugged or not, but everytime we got to the end of a group i noticed i had recived the blessing of nordrassil. looking at my hp/mp regen bar i noticed both were regen'ing about 100 each tick. i cant recall how long it lasted either, but by the time it was finished i was usually back to full health and 80-85% mana.

i think the main thing, and i'll find the video for you...the video i watched introduced an "aggro magnet" which i talked about in my previous post. without this, i fear, i would not have been able to complete the quest. it gave the skeletons something to aggro onto when they spawned, instead of the peasants or myself. the person in the video has a lot more difficulty as his is a cloth wearer who dies part way through the quest (mage or warlock who couldnt heal themselves).

i did watch this several times before doing the quest too. so even though it was my first attempt, i had knowledge from everything i had read and with this video i was even more prepared on what to expect. without it, and its aggro magnet technique, i would probably still be trying to complete the quest. so much thanks to the person who made the video. ;)
