It one thing that's always bugged be about RP-ing. There's so much
in the game that is so unreal I wouldn't have the foggiest idea how
to RP it. Ie you get a quest to kill someone terrorize org, only to
find his hideout camped, they guy lying dead on the floor, then
magically reappears appears!
What is really strange is when people start to leave your party in
between 0 and 1 hours in the night with incomprehensible excuses like
'work in the morning' or 'visiting an aunt'. Then the UI says they went
offline.
Stranger still is however that the next day while you are online you see
a message stating '<person> has come online'. So you whisper them
halfway through the WoW universe and they actually reply back what a
good time they had last night before they logged off.
What is so great about being offline anyways? And why do so many players
spend so much time doing it?
