Well, if you are going to play 3-4 hours a week then no, you will not
enjoy it. In MMORPGS like WOW, you have to spend most of the time
levelling up your character.. which basically is the thing that is
'fun' part.

Instead I recommend a game like Guild Wars, at least you won't waste
money on monthly subscription and still get WOW quality (even better)
gameplay most of the times.

I played WOW for like 2 months, and then got bored cause there is
nothing to it than levelling up your hero, go kill some monsters, talk
with insane 13 yr olds here and there, and then repeat. It's in Guild
Wars too, but like I said, at least you don't waste money on monthly
fees. :P

I would completely disagree. The beauty of WoW is that you *can* play
3-4 hours a week and still have a good time. You can sign on, solo
for 30 minutes, and leave. Groups often form quickly at the low
levels. Typically when you are on a quest you run into someone else
on the same quest and can join forces for a quest and depart.
If you find yourself having a bit more time, you can group up to do a
dungeon or longer quest.

One nice thing about WoW is that you become rested if you've been
offline and your character is in a city or inn. What this means is
that when you play, you get experience twice as fast as a character
who is not rested. It enables people who don't play so much to keep
up with their friends.

As far as Guild Wars, it does have the advantage of not having to pay.
It seemed to me that the Guild Wars players tended to be more
obnoxious kids than in WoW. Also, the only "shared areas" are the
cities. Whenever you are out doing a quest you are in an instanced
zone, so unless you are in a group it's pretty much the same as
playing a solo RPG.
