Re: Quick 10man question

If I have a bunch of 4 elites, 2 of them casters,
and there's no other bunch of mobs around, I
will of course charge instead of pull them.

I wouldn't characterize that as pulling - you don't need to pull in
order to engage them. 80% of the time, though, there are other nearby
mobs that the target(s) need to be isolated from.

You plant your totems and then expect the rest of
the team to adapt and fight where you planted them?

Why is that fundamentally different to the warrior expecting the team
to adapt to a fight up at the front surrounded by mobs? If I'm the
healer, with the mana shortage that shamans have, I *need* to make
maximum use of my mana, which means placing an Earth and a Water totem,
sipping some mana drink, and then letting the combat start.

Whoever pulls gains initial aggro. Not much, almost
nothing, but in order to have the tank getting aggro
back he has to do something for it.

The hunter (or warlock) has a pet, and most pets make adequate tanks.

This is my idea for the perfect pull:
1. Hunter scans for humanoids, then scans for beasts
2. Hunter lays a trap (don't know anything about these though)
3. Shaman lays a couple of enhancement totems and sips a mana drink
4. Hunter marks his target
5. Hunter pulls his target and starts to back off
6. Mage sheeps another target if necessary
7. Hunter sends in his pet to tank his target
8. Warrior charges non-sheeped target
