Ok, I've played a few dozen Warsong Gulch matches now and it's been
tremendous fun... in fact, the majority of the time (and probably the
last 10 matches *straight*) we have won 3-0 within about 30 minutes.
Yes, these are Alliance PUG's, winning WSG repeatedly. Unheard of on my
old PVE server.

It's always fun when you win of course, but these matches are also very
interesting, a real struggle of skills, teamwork, and communication.

But, for the third time ever, I gave Arathi Basin a try. And once
again, like the other AB matches, the odds were 2 vs 1 against us -- 15
vs 8. The Horde stomped us inside of about 5 minutes, as usual. What
in the world makes Blizzard think it's valid, ok, remotely possible for
an 8 vs 15 match to be acceptable? This is one of those times when I
really think the Blizzard programmer responsible for this should get a
keyboard imprinted on his forehead to maybe jam some sense in there.
Very frustrating. Not sure I will ever join AB again on my server... it
appears to be a complete bust due to moronic design flaw of the queues.
Is this a normal phenomenon on most servers?

I feel your pain and have often wondered the same myself. :( There are few
things more frustrating than winding up in WSG in a 10 v 6 match.
Occasionally you might pull one out of the bag if the opposition are being
really thick but in general, it's a lost cause.

There is one thing more frustrating though - deciding not to fight, say
staying in the GY, and continually being killed. The 'fun' is prolonged for
the other side, and once they've killed you five times, they don't realise
that they no longer get Honour from you, so continue to do it. You just
want it to get over and done with so you can leave and re-queue without
getting deserter status...

If it's something ridiculous like 15 v 5 in AB then the match ends in five
minutes due to not having enough players.

However as a Horde Arathi Basin regular, when that has occurred, we've still
managed to win in that time ;)
