The exception, to me anyway, is some of the better blue daggers
and bows. It's pretty hard to get green daggers/bows worth a spit
in your 20's and 30's, and if you shop around for a while to wait
for a decent price, you can usually snag some of them that are
a major damage upgrade over any green you can find or buy.
I've done enough work with rogues and hunters weilding half-
arsed green weapons, to truly appreciate the good blue stuff. And
the blues I get always last my chars 10-15 levels beyond where I
first bought them. Good investment, IMO. Armor, on the other
hand, I've rarely seen a blue under lvl 35 or 40 that was worth
the exorbitant prices they go for.
