My main has mining/skinning. That was how I got the gold I've used so
far. He smelts the ores, sends them to my banker. The banker sells
them, but also keeps an eye out for cheap ore and underpriced bars.
My gold grows, and then crashes on my even number levels when I get
training. AH armor/weapons are still dirt cheap to me but I almost
never see anything I can use higher than green.

Yep, I've been doing that too, but not real aggressively. I just check
and bid on cheap stuff once or twice a day.
