Detect Trap Ability My Rogue Just Got Acting Up

At level 26 I just got the DETACT TRAP abilty when I went to rogue
trainer and trained on it.

Now it seenms to be acting up. If I am stading still and the 3 minute
timer winds down to zero nothing happens until I move. At that point
Detect Trap activates itself again with its little shower of sparkles.

I do not think it is supposed to do this is it? I dont see any harm in
it (so far) but it is distracting and I am afrraid it might aggro a
sensitive mob.

I never activated it in the first place, it just came on and now wants
to stay in place and keep recycling itself every 3 minutes.

What in the world is going on?
