Re: LCD's and WoW



I recieved a free 17" LCD that ran 1280x1024@60Hz with a Dell I
purchased and the refresh was more than sufficient, but not as good as
my Sony Multiscan 420GS running at 1280x1024@85Hz. The colors are much
brighter, more vivid and accurate on the LCD than they are on most
CRTs, but I noticed a significant gaming performance increase when I
switched back to the CRT (as far as FPS games go, WoW it didn't really
matter).

The only problem I have about CRTs is the flickering, I'm very
sensitive to flickering and anything under 85Hz I can start to notice.
