As you say yourself, you are allowed to sell the physical game and even the key attached to it, but they say nowhere that you can sell your account. And as the game is quite useless without the account or with an already activated key, you cannot sell your character.
If you sell the time you spent upon leveling your character, Blizzard can rightly report you to the IRS for tax evasion.
