You need to make enough space in your character's inventory to accept the
bank bag's contents.
Once the bag's contents have appeared, the (now) empty bag should also
appear in your character's inventory.

I also had some bugged items which would not stay in the bank. I guess you
will have to sell/buy back these as well.
