200g loss now) only to get that item for my 60 feral druid.

I understand that a "black forge" is found in Black Rock Depths, but I am a lvl 40 priest and BRD is a lvl 55 instance.

Nope. As Stavros wrote, you can ask a raid that's going on to carry you
in there. If you're in a guild, they might make you that favor.
It's quite hard for a level 40 to just get inside the BRD instance, but
once you're in, they can teleport you right to the anvil if they have
a warlock.

Otherwise you'll have to wait at least until level 50 until you can
expect a pickup group taking you with them...
