Re: Nice Goodies

Instances:

Deadmines is for high teens, low twenties.

By getting killed in them at lvl 30, are you soloing it? You aren't
getting xp for it anymore. And the rewards for a lvl 30 Warrior, if
not gathering for a lower level character or a resource user, are
non-existent.

The Defias and Fang sets are fairly unique in how low a level they are.
(By set I'm referring to thoses pieces who add bonus' based on
completeness of the set. Green Armor and Hulking Armor aren't "sets"
in that regard they just provide a consistent equipment look. Can you
imagine the guards in town equipped with the stuff they'd gotten as if
they'd been out adventuring for it? It would look very rag-tag.) I
think the next set you can get is in the 30's and that's the Scarlet
Mail set. Other sets are 50's at least I think.

Black Fathom Deep is slightly higher level wise than the Deadmines.
The final battle is far more difficult in BFD than in the Deadmines.

High 20's to Low 30's you're doing Razor Fen Kraul.

There's a body to the right of the lift coming down from The Barrens
into 1000 Needles. There's a note on the body that you take to the
Elven Outpost way up in the NW of 1,000 Needles (right on the edge of
Feralas). That leads to the quest in RFK.

Too, in Ratchet, there is a goblin who sends you into RFK with gophers
to get some truffles. In RFK there is a rare spawn elite monster that
drops a Blue bow. There is a giant pig that drops a Blue dagger. The
end-boss, the Pig Queen, drops a Blue shield, but the shield you get as
a quest reward, at least for the Horde, is a better Blue still. And
there is a goblin you can escort out for a nice ring (or necklace, I
forget).

As for damaging, and rate of damage, my level 24 Orc, who wears hulking
armor because it looks cool, it's not the best anymore, plows through
like-levelled mobs like a knife through butter. I maxed Rend and I'm
maxing Crit chances.

(On items and where to find them. I found a blue staff in a chest in
the Yeti Cave. I found a blue sword that dropped off a Pridewing in
Stonetalon Peak. More common in instances though where you are
fighting mini-bosses and end-bosses.)
