Grats on picking the best class in the game :)
i did the same thing i did alot of fire specing.
learn from my mistake.
while pyro blast blast wave etc. seem real apealing due to the burst
damage available.
Now if you dont want to respec. and want to make the most of your tree
as of right now.
i would start to drop some points into arcane.
the talents there are nice. i.e. clearcasting evocation etc.
and the % to resist lowering talent is nice to have as well.
Now to make Pyro work for you in pvp and pve.
i suggest lead with polymorph
that will give you the time. to get your pyroblast off.
as for mana sheild.
i really never used it that much at low levels.
later on in life as you start to get abit higher you will want to
respec to a frost arcane build.
since fire doesnt help as much in high group pvp (wsg and AV) and once
you start to raid harder instances
if you start to throw fire around guild will get pissed because it
wastes a debuff spot with the crappy dot that could be better spent
iwth a lock or another better debuff.
evocation and improved arcane explosion are really worth the talents
spent.
also you can build a combo with fire arcane builds for mega burst
damage with POM + CM +pyro
insta cast pyro that 100% a crit.
is nice shot but you loose alot of great things that the frost tree and
the fire tree (because you have had to spend so many points in arcant
to achive them) have to offer.
Hope this helps
