There are very complicated and some easy looting rules.

For instance, you can only roll on epic set items for your class, only one epic set item per player per run, no rolling on something you already have, etc.

there are so many looting rules. There's also DPK, which awards you points according to the time spent in the instance group or something. Haven't run in a group yet that does DPK.
