Its EQ2 and there was a huge thread discussing it. I believe that one
conclusion was that it wouldn't cause the farmers to leave the other
servers as there would still be a market there. The problem is that
people are not going to leave their server as they would have to start
from scratch again. Even if Blizzard allowed server transfers most
people who want to buy gold wouldn't move because they have guilds and
friends that they wouldn't want to leave.
