Did that. We wiped at the dragon. Bad pulling or something, we were
attacked on both sides, and half our team was down when the dragon
attacked. We managed to bring him down to about 5% health before our
last 2 men fell (a warrior and a rogue). After the corpserun, Rend
stood there alone (and was quite easy to kill).

Sorry, can't blame that one on the puller. It is a timed event - every so often the grates in the other end will open and a new group will come. If you kill slow you will be standing with stragglers from the last group still alive when the next comes, and no chance to sit and drink. If you kill fast you get to stand around staring at the walls.

Can't add much to this, I didn't really know what happened. But we didn't wipe by one of the "regular" waves that came in front of us (where front = the bosses are to my right), but because the gate in our back openened and mobs came from there. No idea whether they came just because the gate opened or because someone pulled them, but from what I read in the raid chat, it was the latter.

From there it is just a small trek to General Drakkisath, who is the
final boss. He drops the chest pieces of all the class sets.

That's good to know (somehow, although it means gathering 15 level 60s to get my hands on this +"*ç&""*ç chestpiece).

Yep.

General Drakkisath in UBRS drops all set chest pieces.
Darkmaster Gandling in Scholomance drops all head pieces.
Baron Rivendare in Stratholme drops all leg pieces.

The rest is scatterd across those three instances. Eg. for druids:

Wildheart Spaulders - Gizrul the Slavener (LBRS, have to kill Halycon
first)
Wildheart Boots - Mother Smolderweb (LBRS)
Wildheart Bracers - BOE drop off Crimson Inquisitors, Shrieking
Banshees and Wailing Banshees (Inquisitors in Stratholme, scarlet
side, Banshees in baron side)
Wildheart Belt - BOE drop off the Ravenian and Scholomance Handlers
and Spectral Teachers (Scholomance, site also lists abominations in
Stratholme, baron side, but this might have changed)
Wildheart Gloves - BOE drop off several different types of mobs in BRS
(mostly in LBRS)

Thanks for all the info!

Trust me, it is easy (if you can get into an UBRS raid) and you don't
need to even think about it for a good 4 level yet - and quite
possibly a good while after that too, seeing as getting Onyxia and
Molten Core loot is most likely needed before you can actually do
anything in there.

But, of course, it is one of those things you might as well do if you
are in the area.

I didn't ask because I'm hot for BWL, I just thought I missed some quest XP by not asking for quests to share :o) But thanks again for all the information.
