Why hasn't this game sold more?

I guess 2 mil is "break even with some profit" territory these days,
but I'm kind of surprised it didn't sell much better.

Is the game even sold in Japan ? Why aren't the japanese lapping this
game up? They loved our 50's culture , etc.

I mean it's a 3 game epic RPG with connective tissue linking up all 3
games. You would think this would be right up the Japanese market's
ally.

What the relevance vis-a-vis 50's culture and ME2?

As for sales, there's no multiplayer, it's not a pure shooter, it's not a driving game, not a sports
game.

2 million seems good for a sci-fi sequel that's still pretty heavy on RPG gameplay.  If it caught
fire in Japan it'd have to be just massive, to the point that people would buy a console just to
play it...the 360 install base is pretty low there.

western culture, western games , western RPG's , etc. was what I was
getting at

At this point ME4 will be released with a one button controller , no
RPG elements , 4,000 kill streak perks with a limited edition douche
signed by EA president and will sell 15 million copies.
