Re: Insomniac goes multiplatform

Insomniac has been successful and grown developing for the
Playstation. They have a new studio in North Carolina. They are on
very friendly terms with Sony and have said their main development is
for the PS3 in the long term. But 3rd party exclusives are becoming a
thing of the past, so Insomniac as a business needs to have multi-
platform products. This news doesn't indicate any major shift in their
primary studio and could be quite similar to Square-Enix with Tri-Ace
being their main multi-platform developing arm. This sounds like a new
project for Insomniac to try multi-platform development with another
publisher. Sony is still going to be their main publisher and the main
games will be on the PS3 for some time to come.
