LOL I was being sarcastic Avatar practically gives away 1000 GS for
just closing your eyes and pressing one button.

If you look at any 'easy achievements' list Avatar tops the list

I heard if you get stone statue awards in Bayonetta your basically a
whimp- Hide quoted text -

Your first playthrough you're pretty much guranteed to get mostly
Stone Statues because of all the damn QTE (quick time events, ie. mash
"B" now! or you die!). Combat in the game is pretty much your
standard action game stuff except you can do finishing (torture) moves
once certain gauges fill up from pulling off combos and her dodge
moves her about 20 feet and if you time it right activates "Witchtime"
where you move faster than your enemies for like 5 seconds. But
you'll be running then bridge or whatever you're on will start
crumbling, so you run and jump to the next section, that will crumble,
and you run the next section, then the camera angle will change. You
can't even see Bayonetta and you may think its just a cut scene then
you have like 1 second to mash "A" to jump. You can't even see where
you're headed or where you're jumping to. It takes a while to get use
to it, because it can happen at anytime, anywhere and you really have
to pay attention even during the lame cut scenes. So you end up dying
and losing time and contributing to your Stone Award.

The combat is fun, but there's just not enough of it. Too many breaks
in the action, running, jumping, lame cut scenes, and QTE. Most of
the boss battles consists of you knocking their health down to a point
and then grabbing them and mashing "B" repeatedly. Rinse. Repeat.
I'm fine with doing it once as a finishing move, but the same sequence
two or three times? Honestly, I'm having more fun playing
Darksiders. Better story, better voice acting, better puzzles, better
character design (IMHO) and alot less QTE, if only the combat was more
interesting.

You can skip the cutscenes and they are not really anything to watch, unless you want to get a bit of the story. I don't see where you say there isn't enough combat, it just about every minute or so. It also isn't as simple as you say when button mashing, there are pretty many complex moves in the games that require many different sequences of pushing different but for nearly 30+ different moves that are needed for certain enemies. Certain weapons work best on certain enemies, or you are owned.

It's really about taste since it comes across like DMC or NG, but I think the combat in this game is much better, more fun and with much more action.
