wow I just got done with a co-op game Expert/Realism enabled and it
took us 7 hours 40minutes , that was a fricken hard achievement.
Almost 9,000 zombies killed
The A.I. director threw everything at us ....he/she/it was relentless
with the ever spawning hordes and special infected .
The 2 VS. players said VS. is never this hard.
What a battle I almost gave up I was hungry thirsty and somehow the
last attempt I just went bat-shit insane and gathered all the fuel
cans as fast as possible and got into that damn car finally.
What made it harder is we had 2 randoms coming and going as only 2 of
us were left , since you have to be alive in the vehicle to get the
achievement.
I feel bad one of the players that started from the very beginning in
the lobby got hit with a rock standing by the car while my team mate
was putting in the last gas can.
I like that they made it so you have to be alive now 'in the vehicle'
to get the achievement in L4D1 you could die and still get the Expert
achievement.
Really? I got robbed, then... one time I made it to the end but died
before I could get on the rescue vehicle so I didn't get credit for

Yeah 'still something to prove' you need to be alive at the end of
every finale on Expert and the 'real Deal' you need to survive at
least (1) campaign with realism/expert enabled
.
