I gave it another 10 hours with that character, then gave up and
started over with a female elf rogue instead of a male human mage. The
prologue for the new character went much, much faster and didn't suck
as hard. It was still utterly predictable from a plot perspective,
although the whole "bride having her wedding day ruined, ends up
killing everyone" wasn't one I had seen in a game before.

As far as other games, I was drawn in to Mass Effect and Fallout 3
almost immediately. Playing Dragon Age (with the mage) felt like a
chore.

I still say the graphics are operating at an Xbox 1 level, which isn't
forgivable in the face of things like Fallout 3. When I looked out
over the forest at Ostagar and saw the trees were made up of two air
freshener tree cut outs stuck together I had a major "FUUUUUUUUUUUUU!"
moment.  The choppiness in the cut scenes went away after I copied it
to the HD and started playing it from there.

While the 2nd play through was better than the first it still feels
like cookie cutter fantasy, that this is all stuff I've seen lots of
times before. I'm really not impressed and I'm struggling to keep
playing it when I've got ACII and Demon's Souls sitting here unplayed.

Wait.......you're the guy who claimed that Ratchet & Clank looked like
an Amiga game, and called God of War "garbage" compared to such
"great" games as Enclave. Folk, I think everyone needs to take what
Jordan says with a grain of salt. Or a truckload of it. While I'm
sure Dragon Age is not cutting edge graphically (the reviews all note
this), it's doubtful that it's as bad as he says.

And I thought Jordan couldn't play games anymore due to his
condition??????????? What's up with that?
