One thing that really annoys me:
"Zune will occupy the first slot within the Xbox user interface in the
Xbox LIVE Video Marketplace, exposing the Zune brand experience to
millions of new consumers for the first time."
I can understand them advertising games but there's no reason there
should be an entire Zune section when so few people have or want a
Zune in the first place.
You mean a new product made by MS sold with the intent to make a
profit would be advertised on their own platform?
Yeah its absurd.....(rolls eyes)
--------------------------------------------------------
I haven't seen a Walkman advertisement on Sony's interface. It is absurd in
the sense that it isn't really directly related to the 360. Granted, they
are putting it in the video section but I would go out on a limb and say
that Netflix would be exponentially more relevant in the video blade than
the Zune.
When the DSi launched, there wasn't a widget on my kids Wii.
According to MS the ZUNE is directly related to the 360.
Good article here:

Isn't the ZUNE gonna be just a portable video player that plays arcade
games as well? What's the big deal if it takes up the video blade ,
netflix will be right beside it .
What's absurd is your speaking from a fanboy point of view by saying
"look SONY doesn't advertise Walkman on PSN." and "Look Nintendo
doesn't advertise DSI on your kids Wii."
I really don't wanna tread down the Sony is better than MS
road ,Nintendo is better than MS and so on and so on.
You could argue the entire PS3 platform is one big advertisement for
Blu-Ray technology and that's more than just a video blade. So what ?
Business is business
It's a reasonable assumption that if MS intends to have a ZUNE blade
then you can expect some direct relation to the 360. I know for a fact
Netflix isn't going to dissapear from XboxLive anytime soon and its
possible you can download video to your ZUNE via Netflix ? who knows ?
I'm one for optimisim and hoping ZUNE will be a decent piece of
hardware.
Why all this fuss about having ZUNE take up a video blade on the 360 ?
Is it somehow going to take over your 360 and ruin your life? Maybe
the ZUNE will be a piece of shit , maybe not .
