Magic the Gathering Meets Monopoly.........
That about sums it up.
It's a creative design and fun play, but prepared to devote a lot of
time to finish games. On larger maps, especially with many players, it
can take hours to finish a single play.
If you have had any interest in collectible card games it is worth a
shot. You begin with a small "starter" deck and grow your collection
by playing (you receive varying amounts of cards based on map size and
where your placement ranks at the end of the game). There is a decent
amount of strategy you can incorporate into your own decks and the
slight learning curve balances well with the rate of card acquisition.
If you're looking for a deep story or memorable characterizations,
you're looking in the wrong place. On the flip side, it's a good title
to add to your library if you have time to invest and enjoy card
collectible play.
