Morgan:
Am I juts being old and grumpy or does anyone else get annoyed by the
people who'd rather use glitches in maps go get past challenging
situations in Left 4 Dead? I got the game yesterday
Yes, I understand your point and I agree to some degree about glitching.
OTOH I've beaten every campaign on expert dozens of times so sometimes we
use glitches just to change up the gameplay a little bit.
one had something to do with hitting a mounted gun lots of
times then jumping on it. In the end I got bored of watching him and
hit mate hitting the bugger and just flicked on the fork lift that
did things the proper way but brought an onslaught of Zombies.
I had the same reaction the first time because it seems idiotic to spend
five minutes whacking on a gun rather than five minutes fighting zombies
but I have to admit that flying across the map is hilarious.
Then at the Boat House bit he (and another player) insisted that they
should stand on a rock rather than defending the house. Leaving two
of us to fend off the horde.
It has nothing to do with the game you just want to control how others
play. Smart is picking the easiest spot to defend, not artificially
creating limits then getting angry because someone doesn't play 'your
way'.
This is one of the very few times I've ever added someone to my avoid
list.
I add them all the time.
