RoS is a licensing nightmare unfortunately.

Yeah, I always forget about the Hulk, Spider-Man and Batman bosses...

Although they did a revised version that corrected (or altered,
depending on your point of view) the more obvious issues.

I'm definitely interested in the collection but I want to get the opinion
from the purists in terms of how it runs since the recent XBLA releases as
well as other retro collections weren't quite what I wanted.

I picked it up tonight, I'll let you know. There have been major
issues with previous Sega packages in the past but Digital Eclipse has
made a mini industry out of this kind of emulation so it should be
pretty sharp by now.
