Re: RROD, turnaround time for repair?

OK, thanks for all the replies. I called xbox support today, a pre-paid shipping box is on it's way (3-4 days), repair (10 days) and return (3-4 days). It will be probably take longer but as long it's fixed (done right) I can wait.
Any suggestions besides proper ventilation as for cooling fan or cooling pad like those used for laptops? Do they work?
