I am awaiting delivery of a hd plasma tv with hdmi, my 360 has the hdmi
output. Will I be able to connect the 360 both ways to two different
tv's? One connection to the plasma via hdmi and then my current
connection to my old tv with the av cables, and then play on whichever
tv I want to without unplugging either of the cables?
I think the cabling is the least of the problems... The 360 only
supports one resolution at a time. If you set it for 1080p then your
plasma will look great and your SDTV will be completely scrambled. If
you set it for 480i then both sets will be playable, but the plasma
will look like trash.
I guess if you don't mind constantly changing resolutions from the
dashboard every time you want to switch sets...
But my suspicion will be once you've seen games in 1080p on the plasma
you won't ever use your old set for gaming again.
