You guys are funny. Do any of you actually own a PS3 or are you just
pretending...

If there is a system update, the 360 will do the same thing if it is
connected online. Get lives please...

Maybe so, but I've never had the 360 take 30 minutes to download and
install an upgrde.

Seriously, just how large can the firmware update be?  It takes 20 minutes
to download, and another 10 minutes to install.

On the 360, an upgrade takes 5 minutes at most - that includes download,
installation and rebooting - after that, I'm back in the dashboard, logged
in and ready to go..  Both my 360 and PS3 are connected through the
same switch into my network, and I can sustain at least 1Mbps download,
but somehow I doubt I'm getting anything near that fast from Sony's
network.

Your 360's fucking remote controlers 2.4ghz radio is most likely screwing with
the Wireless G connection in the PS3 and making it slow.

Is that seriously your contribution to the discussion? Surely you can
do better than reference a year-old claim that was debunked a long
time ago. Do you even know if Jordan is using a wireless connection?
