Anyone else having problems with the xbox 360 connecting to Vista to
work as a media centre?

I can connect and stream stuff, but if I change / delete any files on
the PC the xbox still says they are there. Then when i try to play
the non existance files it comes up with an error.

Seems to be that the library is not updating correctly.

Any ideas?

what kind of network are you running through and do you have media player
set to automatically monitor shared folders? you can try removing your 360
from sharing and re-add (have to go through the entire extender setup
process again)or go through media player to update your library. can't
remember those exact clicks off the top of my head, but it essentially
rebuilds your library info.
