I had no idea it was this far along. Seems like it's been ages since
anyone talked about a Watchmen movie...

I don't think that this will do much at the box office. I used to read comics, but this is one that should not be a movie. I think for the good of this movie genre, the less DC characters, the better. DC heroes are from an old age where everyone is wearing a bright colored jumpsuit, has a cape of just looks like a fool! I like gauging audience reaction and when they saw the trailer, I knew women would not be interested and guys do not care. A guy dressed up as an owl is certainly more foolish than mind-blowing. Aside form Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern, DC needs to not kill this genre with there other foolish characters. Marvel characters are based on something that would take place if it were real.
