Like Grinder said, you have to beat him in Insane on co-op...one
player with the torque bow, the other with the sniper rifle. Use the t-
b to knock off those krell, then use the sniper rifle to headshot
him...rinse and repeat. Takes a good ten headshots to do it. If Raam
comes anywhere near you, quickly run to the baricade at the other end
of the train car. Don't panic. From what I recall, it took me and a
bud about 5 tries to do it, but man was it sweet when Raam finally bit
the dust...

I didn't use a coop- player to defeat him on Insane mode. Like most games,
they follow a certain path depending on where you go. I simply stayed on one
side where he would just sit in front of me while I was behind one of the
barricade/objects, and he wouldn't even try to kill Dom. I'd unload a
torque-bow at his side, then with the Kryll dispersed, I would just use my
Lancer on his head, repeat, wash and rinse. Needless to say, this took about
5-7 tries to figure out, but I could do it every time now.

I tried a similar strategy as your's, but would always run out of ammo
(after about 15-20 consecutive headshots) OR Raam would suddenly
attack me and that was it. Maybe I'll fire it up tonite and try it
again :)

It's a sort of a glitch that Tom is benefiting from. Sometimes Raam
gets stuck, sometimes he doesn't. Once you get the Kryll blown off of
him, emptying a full complement of Lancer into his brain (blind fire) is
enough to put him down even in Insane mode.

I thought they fixed that bug? At least when I tried it, it never
worked.
