You can get a plenty good setup for under $10k. In an area innundated by
SUVs, BMWs, Lexus's, etc., that's pretty much pocket change.

It's a lot easier for most people to justify dropping an extra ten
grand to get a better car than to drop ten grand on a home
entertainment system.

Ten grand is a lot of money to spend on pure entertainment regardless
of whether you're inclined to spend it.

I just thought it was funny that you used a preowned vehicle as your
basis of comparison for the cost of an entertainment system.
