It's worse in Manhattan which is why I always wait until the weekends

Yeah it sucks dealing with crowds and all that, but go to the right
theaters and you won't find a better setup short of visitng a
millionaires house. I saw Iron Man last night on one, and while the
movie was a little slow at times the action and special effects were
stunning on a big digital screen and worth every penny I paid for the
experience.

It really doesn't take that much money to get a decent setup, even if you
want to go all the way and make a dedicated theater room. While the sky's
the limit, you can put together a theater for way less than what you're
going to spend on an used car.

A used car??? *That's* your point of comparison to convince us that
it's not that expensive? LOL
