It seems the cheapest way is to get a new Arcade 360, that has an HDMI
port.
Can I just take off my hard drive to my current one and put it on that
one
to use?
Yes, although any downloadable content you've bought (games, add-ons) will
now require you to be logged into Live in order to use them.
Also, does the HDMI just use any standard hdmi cable? Its not a
particular
one from xbox I have to get is it?
A standard HDMI cable is fine. However, if you want to also connect your
360
to your surround sound system, then you'll want to buy the Microsoft 360
HDMI cable which includes a breakout for the optical audio cable on the
360-side of the connector.
Or if you receiver has HDMI inputs/outputs (as does mine) then it will take
the video and audio through just one HDMI cable.
However if your TV is like mine, and offers an optical audio out, then you
can just use a standard HDMI cable, then connect your TV to your surround
system. When you want surround, tell the TV to use the optical audio
output, turn on your surround system to the proper input, and voila.

It's not broken. It's...advanced.
