Sounds like you were pretty sure of the whole thing.  You can say that
it's all just conjecture, and you might technically have a point
there, but the amount of time you've invested in your "hypothetical"
makes your self-certainty apparent.

It's all in the same sentence, it's pretty contingent on that word
"if".


Um, if you want to get technical, no, it's _not_ all in the same
sentence.
