Is that taking RROD funds into account?
My guess is that it's taking $350-$450 consoles, $50 controllers, $100
Wi-Fi, and $100-180 hard drives into account...
You forgot HD DVD drives
I doubt that figures in very much really. How many people really bought into that? Even if you add that today ($99 for the drive, $129 going back almost 6 months), and at the time it was the same price as the PS3 when it came out. How many people use wifi, which I think is lame for gaming when any interference causes gaming issues. But, if you consider what one had to spend on the PS3 to get it to work (HD connectors, headset, controller with rumble) you can easily add another $100 to its price range; this somewhat nullifies KoG's remark easily.
