If this is true and the game is indeed released for the 360, it'll be
very interesting to see how the 360's graphics will measure up to
what's shown on one of the very high end PCs out there.
Crysis certainly is very impressive looking on my buddy's very
powerful PC which he treated himself to this X-mas. But come
November, his system will be a dinosaur and would be interesting to
compare the graphics between the 360 and a high-end PC then.
I think I'll still pick up the game even if the 360's graphics don't
measure up too well though. But hopefully, Crytek will optimize as
much as possible for the 360 before they let it go gold.
I don't think the 360's GPU will be up to the task. If my PC with dual 8800 Ultra 768MB cards can't cope with it, then sure as hell the single GPU in the 360, which has around half the power of one of my 8800's, is not going to handle the game very well at all, unless they cut the graphics down.
Then you have a very weak processor, but I doubt that since you say this is your set-up. Even with a duo-core 6700 and those teo videos cards, you could run that at the highest setting easily. Benchmark tests with just one of those video cards and a duo-core6800 extreme ran it no problem at the highest settings. If you really have a PC that powerful, you paid at least $3000 (US) for it.

Why would you spend that kind of money just to play that PC game? I cannot see any other PC games requiring half of what Crysis does for the near future. You may as well go 64bit for your OS too if you're so willing to spend, that will improve the FR. Also, why get duo-core extreme when you can geet a quad-core for just a bit more for the money and have more cores to process the game.
I have read a few sites that played Crysis on various setups, and it ran, for the most part, really well at high resolutions using high end hardware. I still say since you have two Ultras, that it is more than enough. And why would anyone want to go any higher than 1600x1200 in res on any monitor smaller than 21" is useless since you couldn't tell the difference. What size monitor are you using?
