Once again, this is why I have a computer attached to my TV. It's the
ONLY way to play everything from Youtube video to every codec known to
man. I gave up on "media extenders" years ago. They're just not worth
the hassle. Better to buy an old computer.
Yes I also have an older PC conncted to my TV. But it's so old that
it can't play most HD videos. The 360 has more than enough power to
play even 1080p video, so the latest divx/xvid enhancements help me
get more usage out of that old computer as file streamer.
Though the file compatibility of the 360 still isn't broad enough.
