While we won't nave Novembers NPD numbers for some time, one reliable
indicator we do have is thewww.amazon.combest seller list. This
list, while not nearly as reliable as NPD data does give us a good
sample of shopper trends sincewww.amazon.comaccounts for over 65% of
on-line retail sellers (excluding ebay)

So what does thewww.amazon.comvideo game best sellers list look
like?http://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/videogames/ref=pd_ts_pg_1?ie=UTF...

What we've seen over the past week is the same: the Nintendo DS
dominates the top 10 with it's games and consoles. Sprinkled in the
top 10 are Wii and XBox 360 titles. The XBox 360 $349 package is the
first next-gen console on the list (consistently) currently in the #12
spot as I write this, but it fluxulates a bit

Both XBox 360 and PS3 consoles are in stock, the PS3 console doesn't
show up in the list untill #39 (ouch) it's best selling game atwww.amazon.com
is Assassin's Creed, the best selling 360 title is Halo 3. (Assassin's
Creed is also available on the XBox 360).

The Wii consoles position in the list is pretty far down, but it
should be noted that unlike the PS3 and XBox 360, the Wii has
consistently been out of stock at Amazon, so most on-line buyers are
probably turning to sites like EBay for a Wii. Will Novembers NPD
numbers mirror this list? Probably. today Nintendo made a comment to
the press similar to SONY's regarding increased sells (again, as if
consumers aren't able to figure this out for themselves), Microsoft
has been quite, but that should not be mistaken for selling poorly.

RMZTroll yet again beating his chest about the PS3?

Colour me shocked.

I know, he must be getting scared. For someone who hates the PS3 so much, sure does talk about it alot.
