I was going to order the Sony 46" V3000 yesterday from Circuit City:
$2500 - $250 for in-store pickup.
Then I decided to wait until the new entertainment center comes.
I checked this morning, and the TV is now $2200 with free shipping. 24
Months 0%.
I wonder how low they'll go by Christmas, or better yet, Superbowl.
The Circuit City ads change pretty dramatically from week to week. I
picked up a 56" LED backlit DLP set from them. It listed for $2600, I
got it for $2099 with a free camcorder. But... get this... they ran
out of stock on the camcorder so they just took $200 off my order
making it $1899. With 18 months no interest. The next week the
camcorder offer was gone and it was back up to $2500.
Now the same set has a regular sale price of $1799 with 24 months no
interest.

But that's OK, now I'm looking at getting a smaller 720p set for my
mom for Christmas. Circuit City has some decent ones in the $800 to
$1000 range, Best Buy undercuts them going down to $500 to $800. Could
be a very interesting Black Friday.
