Is Xbox 360 a next gen console? NO, Xbox 360 is not a next gen
console. For proof just take a look at Xbox 360's console-defining
game, Halo 3. Amazing how Halo 3 uses PREVIOUS GEN standard definition
video (NOT HD) that was invented in the 1930s. REAL next gen systems
like PS3 have games in HD and even 1080p "True HD". Yet Halo 3 and
Xbox 360 are still stuck in the great depression with their dinosaur-
era obsolete technology.
I know how much it hurts to see a totally awesome game come out on "the
other console" while your precious PS3 struggles to field its first >90%
rated game.
Pretty hypocritical, since I'm pretty sure the knowledge that even one
PS3 has sold somewhere causes you physical pain.
LOL - You can't even come up with a decent response now? I'm
disappointed.
However, could you at least try using facts?
Is Halo3 HD - no.
Is Halo3 SD - again, no. It's somewhere in-between. You could not have
properly broadcast an image from Halo3 back in the 1930s (B&W vs. Color
aside)
Even so, why is it a game using "70 year old techology" wiping the floor
with the PS3? At this rate, there'll be more copies of Halo3 in the
marketplace than PS3s. Period.
The stupidity of the Doug Jacobs Troll shines through again. The PS3
could be blasting through at a record pace and it wouldn't have
anything to do with the phenomenal success of Halo 3.
Yes, we know that's your fantasy, King of Fanboys, but what does that
have to do with anything Doug posted?
And no, the whole year start excuse
doesn't work. The Wii had no problems getting going.
$250, Xbot.
So you're justifying one excuse with another?
The PS2 had no
problems getting going.
$299, Xbot.
You keep going back to price as an excuse as if it were relevant (it's
just a bad choice on their part and it's biting them in the ass) and
ignore the lack of compelling exclusives (the result of other bad
choices) as usual.
The PS3 by all accounts should have dominated
every month since its release...but has fallen short time and time again.
It has at worst equaled and likely surpassed the sales of your
precious 360 when comparing launches, idiot...
When comparing launches? LOL
The only reason the Xbox 360 didn't sell twice as many at launch was
because of the lack of supply. Like with the Wii, demand far exceeded
supply. THAT'S a successful launch, not when your system is left
collecting dust on the shelves and the only reason anyone bought them
was in the hopes of selling on eBay for a profit (and failing 99% of
the time).
despite higher costs
and competition.
The Playstation 2 debuted with competition and higher cost and did
really well.
You can't tout the system as being so technologically sophisticasted
and then keep crying foul on price.
But keep on spinning Xbot, while the world keeps on
turnin'. And if you could, could you maybe work with the alMIGHTY
faNboy and co-author your inevitable response, so I don't have to
respond to TWO long-winded posts of lies?
The alMIGHTY faNboy... cute... yet another case of the pot calling the
kettle black. You're one of the biggest fanboys trolling this
newsgroup, never able to come up with any sort of real substantial
facts to back up a single argument.
