Halo (1) was the best of the bunch for campaign and story.
But why waste time on a troll like Mrs S?

Agreed, I have played Halo2 (I can't count how many times) and now 3 through solo campaign 4 times on every difficulty and Halo1 still is hands down the best in campaign mode, and in story. I am getting to the point where as fun as MP is in Halo3, and when I do play it, it smokes Halo2 when playing it, with Forge, etc. But, the waiting for friends to join, or joining them, or creating a game and waiting for someone to join, or matchmaking, makes this a terrible MP experience.

I'm almost to the point where I consider the MP mode a dud because you can't play it unless you arrange them to meet. Try doing this and get all 16 players in, which is when the MP is the best and the most fun. I average playing with 6 people at most at any given time, this frickin sucks!
