Valve does it again. Every multiplayer game they've ever done has
launched to severe, gamebreaking lag.

It's like playing on a 300 baud modem. Really.

Comparing the smoothness of Halo 3 to the SHITTINESS of TF2 is beyond
compare.

Good job, Valve. Way to *** up - AGAIN. Hey, how about another 3
years til the next HL episode?

speaking of crap software, how 'bout that Vista? or Media Center? I upgraded to Home Premium recently as my Media Center 2005 box thought it was really Media Center 2002, cut off all media services, and refused to make new ones. so now I'm 3 days in, have much less hair, and I can still only connect to my network if it's unencrypted. haven't even gotten to the point where I can try out media sharing, which I'm sure will still be fubared. so...is there anything that Microsoft really does right?

I have Vista Premium on my desktop. It's networked with encryption to my 360, another desktop and two laptops. Although it was a little more complicated than XP (new security features) it was still fairly easy to do. Maybe Microsoft isn't the problem. Just a thought.

Rob

exactly, it could be the router or the wireless adapter that Vista won't let me uninstall without reinstalling it right behind me...
